This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that has been in Andover since 1983. They are looking for an experienced office administrator to join their small friendly team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Open incoming post & distribute
• Answer incoming telephone calls
• Take & input sales orders and ensure the smooth & efficient running of the company’s sales order processing function, including; controlling dispatch of sales orders, monitoring customer accounts, chasing orders, customer liaison.
• Deal with sales enquiries
• Purchasing – fax/email raised purchase orders
• Maintain supplier/courier spreadsheet
• Amend & get authorised product data & MSDS
• Typing for directors, management & sales team
• Maintain and/or create in house forms & leaflets
• When necessary attend & take minutes at weekly audio sales team conference & weekly operations meeting
• Deal with the processing of export orders, daily orders list, month end reports
• Provide cover for office assistant in their absence: produce labels & raise dispatch paperwork
• Produce sales analysis charts for management team
• To work with the sales & marketing manager on any promotional campaign
• To act as a member of the exhibition team
• To help with the production & distribution of company news letters
• To bank all cheques in the absence of the financial controller
• To place & confirm orders for raw materials where necessary
• To undertake any other reasonable duties as may be assigned
The successful candidate will have the following:
• Previous experience in an administrators position
• Applicants should ideally have previous experience in a similar role with competent IT skills, i.e. Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel.

• In addition, the ability to work as part of a team and/or on their own initiative are essential for the role.
• The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, show outstanding attention to detail and have the ability to multitask, follow instructions, with a positive hard-working approach.
