The role of the Production Planning Coordinator:

• Manage and lead the production planning team
• Develop and communicate detailed production plans
• Start & end of day reviews with Production Manager and Supervisors
• Assist with team scheduling and resource allocation
• Schedule equipment servicing to avoid downtime
• Analyse production data to improve efficiency
• Provide performance metrics and participate in daily and monthly reviews
• Work with the Quality team to monitor and improve yields and reject rates
• Drive and support continuous improvement and lean initiatives
• Engage stakeholders to facilitate effective change management
• Ensure smooth implementation of changes across departments
• Promote professional working practices and high standards of service

The person for the Production Planning Coordinator:

• Strong knowledge of cellular manufacturing and operations processes
• Familiar with stores and purchasing systems
• Effective communicator, both verbal and written
• Experienced in leading or mentoring teams
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively
• Understanding of customer requirements and quality standards
• Holds MRP or ERP qualifications
• Flexible, assertive, and supportive with a professional approach
• Relevant leadership or management qualifications
