The Role of the Goods In Inspector:

• Identifying defects, recording and reporting nonconforming products in Global Trader.
• Processing products in line with disposition instructions and internal procedures.
• Ensuring all stock is correctly located and electronically updated in Global Trader.
• Picking products according to the daily priority list.
• Maintaining ESD precautions when handling products.
• Verifying authenticity of electronic components.
• Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated as required.
• Adhering to all internal quality procedures and contributing to continuous improvement.
• Interpreting technical documents and data sheets.
• Carrying out stock checks, movements, and consolidation.
• Preparing bulk shipments and managing scrap projects.
• Maintaining good housekeeping and a tidy working area.

The Person for the Goods In Inspector:

• Previous warehouse or inspection experience essential.
• Attention to detail and reliability are crucial.
• IT literate – knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook) beneficial.
• Quality-conscious with good written English.
• Understanding of First In, First Out (FIFO) beneficial.
• Counterbalance or Combi FLT licence desirable but not essential.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and a team player with a focus on maintaining high standards.
