Parcel Sorter

Active Staff are working with a reputable company in Swindon who are looking for a Parcel Sorter to join their busy team!

Working Hours Monday to Friday up until Christmas!

02:00-08:00

Main Duties:

• Picking and packing.
• Reading and making labels for specific postcodes.
• Sorting cages into relevant bays ready for distribution.
• Loading and unloading new lorries.
• Working on a production line.
• Sorting and distributing parcels.

Due to the nature of this job you will need to be physically fit as there can be heavy lifting involved

Previous warehouse experience desirable but not essential.

Requirements:

• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations
• Ensuring the Warehouse/Loading Bay is tidy and safe from hazards
• Complete a DBS by week 4 of working.

Due to the nature of this job, you will need to be reliable and have a willingness to learn and progress in the role. This role will involve manual handling, heavy lifting and will involve being on your feet and moving about frequently.

You will need to have a flexible approach to your work duties and work well within a team. You will provide support in your team and help resolve problems and have a can-do attitude.
