Electronic Repair Technician

The successful candidate will be responsible for fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, and refurbishments of Electronic and Mechanical assemblies.

• 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday (although can be flexible)
• Up to £32,000kpa salary offered (DOE)

Duties of the Electronic Repair Technician:

• Diagnose, fault-find, and repair electronic/electrical assemblies.
• Carry out soldering (SMT & through-hole) and PCB rework to a high standard.
• Operate electronic test equipment including multimeters, light sensors, and diagnostic software.
• Complete refurbishments to defined processes, quality, and safety standards.
• Support the development of repair and test procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations

The person for the Electronic Repair Technician:

• Strong soldering and PCB rework skills (IPC-610 / IPC-7711/21 desirable).
• Experience with Multimetres and Test equipment
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow procedures.
• Hands-on skills in wiring, crimping and mechanical assembly.
