Job Description

Active Staff are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers (C+E) on behalf of a global supermarket chain, operating out of one of their primary distribution centres in Didcot.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for full-time, part-time, or ad-hoc work. Whether you want consistent weekly shifts or to top up your current hours, we can offer flexibility that suits your schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering ambient, chilled, and frozen goods to retail stores across the region
• Operating Class 1 (C+E) vehicles
• Ensuring deliveries are made safely and on time
• Completing all necessary paperwork and vehicle checks

Shift Information

• Ad-hoc / flexible shifts available
• 24/7 operation – including weekends and nights
• Shifts offered based on your availability

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
• Up-to-date CPC and Tachograph card
• Good level of communication and reliability
• Previous HGV Class 1 experience preferred
