Job Description

Active Staff are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers (C+E) on behalf of a global supermarket chain, operating out of one of their primary distribution centres in Chepstow.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for full-time, part-time, or ad-hoc work. Whether you want consistent weekly shifts or to top up your current hours, we can offer flexibility that suits your schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering ambient, chilled, and frozen goods to retail stores across the region
• Operating Class 1 (C+E) vehicles to a high safety and compliance standard
• Performing vehicle checks and completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Working as part of a professional logistics team in a 24/7 operation

Shift Options

• Full-time: 5 days out of 7 on weekly rotating schedules
• Ad-hoc: Flexible single shifts available throughout the week and weekends
• Day and night shifts available

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
• Valid CPC card
• Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) card
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
