My client is searching for an Installation Operative to join their busy team in Alton. They are a manufacturer and installation company of a variety of products across the UK.

Work Location: Working on the Highway’s across the UK (North and South)

Job role responsibilities for the Installation Engineer:

• Perform installation of surface mounted highway products
• Undertake any reasonable tasks requested by your installation supervisor / Production Manager
• Using hand and power tools to install a variety of products across the UK
• Assist to ensure goods are dispatched to site, prior to any upcoming installations
• Contribute to a smooth running of the installation operation
• Deputise for the installation supervisor and liaise with the Sales office for scheduling
• Daily Timesheets and Mileage to be recorded and passed to MD weekly
• Maintain good housekeeping in store area both indoors and outdoors
• Ensure accurate Installation records are maintained
• Achieve the highest level of installation as measures by our customer satisfaction approval forms
• Liaise with the installation Supervisor for kitting up product in Alton to fulfil specific customer orders
• Work closely with the area Sales Manager for area installation
• Ensure that all installation equipment and the vans are in good working order
• Perform secondary production tasks such as drilling, and band sawing required product modules

Flexibility and experience needed for the Installation Engineer:

• Travel around the North and South of the UK.
• Frequent stay aways, meals & hotel costs covered by company.
• Good communication skills and maintain a high quality of installation on site.
• Previous Hand/Power tools experience
• Highway maintenance experience (advantageous)

Licence/Certification:

• CSCS (required)
• Driving Licence (required)
• Streetworks Card an advantage but can be gained within role.
