£13.30 per hour

42.5 hour week with overtime available

My client are a leading Global Design and Manufacturing business on the outskirts of Salisbury, due to the sustained growth and continued success they are seeking someone to join the team as a Machine/Trimmer Operator.

Main responsibilities:

• Match and select raw materials, Engineering plastics, for processing using job card information
• Quality check each stage of processing
• Set-up and operate CNC controlled flatbed router machines to produce parts correctly to drawing.
• Check processed parts off machine to maintain high levels of quality and accuracy
• Actively check processed parts for defects
• Assist other operators when required

Full training will be provided, during and after the initial training stages, you will be working alongside experienced team of operators that are skilled in a unique and vibrant sector of manufacturing.

Successful candidate:

Due to the unique nature of the business, my client are seeking an operator that can transition from a machining or manufacturing environment, experience in operating a cutting machine and processing of materials.

This position will involve some heavy lifting and manoeuvring heavy sheets throughout the day; some duties will involve using a Hand Router, Stanley Knife and trimming knife.

If you do not have experience operating a CNC Router, or know what a CNC Router is, but you have machine experience within a production environment, this could be your successful transition into a vibrant new industry where full training will be provided.
