Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm and a 3:30pm finish on a Friday

£12.50 - £13ph

Our client is seeking a Soldering Technician to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in aiding in the PCB assemblies for a multitude of customers for a highly reputable Electronics Manufacturer.

The role of the Soldering Technician:

• Build products to customer drawings
• Thru hole soldering wire harnesses onto PCB’s
• Follow assembly instructions to assemble final PCB’s
• Maintain quality standards
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Work well in a team environment to achieve production goals
• Tinning
• Packing of products for Despatch
• Basic Electronics Testing
• Report any defects to Production Supervisor

Experience of the Soldering Technician:

• Previous soldering experience
• IPC610 or IPC certification (desirable)
• Ability to handle small tools and soldering equipment
• Able to read Electrical drawings (desirable)
• Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment
