I am pleased to be representing a market leading Engineering company who are on the lookout for a Yard Operative…. In this position your role will be to maintain the yard, load and unload lorries with a Counterbalance Forklift and ensure hired products returned are jet washed down for re-hire.

Role of the Yard Operative

• Load and unload vehicles with various equipment using a forklift
• Maintain and upkeep yard
• Manoeuvring a variety of OEM equipment around the yard
• Maintain stock control
• Jetwash and maintain hired equipment upon return
• Comply with all health and safety

Experience of the Yard Operative

• Counterbalance Forklift license
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills
• Physically fit due to the nature of the role
