Forklift Operator (Combi Lift / Side Loader)

Pay & Shift:

• £13.60 per hour (£28,300 per annum)
• Monday to Friday
• 5:00am to 2:00pm

Your key responsibilities:

• Operate a Combi Lift / Side Loader forklift safely to load, unload and move metal stock around the warehouse
• Carry out general warehouse duties, including picking stock, packing and keeping inventory organised
• Work in accordance with all company health and safety procedures and wear the required PPE at all times
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and well organised
• Work effectively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of daily warehouse operations
• Identify and report any equipment faults, safety issues or potential hazards

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience operating Forklift - a Side Loader / Combi Lift forklift training can be provided after probation – a current licence is not essential as refresher training can be provided
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual and able to communicate effectively
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Willing to wear high-vis clothing and safety boots at all times
