Plant Yard Manager

Active Staff are pleased to be representing a innovative growing business who are looking to add a Plant Yard Manager to the team. This will be overseeing plant machinery that will be sold in Auction and to ensure the yard is kept in good condition for easy accessibility and viewings.

Responsibilities of the Plant Yard Manager:

• Oversee arrival of plant equipment and vehicles to the auction yard
• Oversee yard staff (drivers/jet-washers)
• Photograph auction lots
• Some travel to vendor sites to obtain plant machinery details and photograph successful auction lots
• Accurately apply consignment and lot numbers to individual vehicles
• Ensure upkeep and maintenance of the yard
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained by staff and visitors

Experience of the Plant Yard Manager:

• Experience in safely driving a variety of plant machinery and vehicles
• IT literate to basic level of MS365
• Motivated can do attitude
• Good mechanical knowledge of plant vehicles
