Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 15:45pm with a 12:00pm finish Friday OR
Monday to Thursday 4:00pm - 2:00am Monday to Thursday.
£12.21 - £15.70 (DOE)
My client is a high-end Engineering company who makes bespoke products for a variety of industries. I am glad to say they are expanding the team and looking for multiple Press Brake Operator's on either a day or late shift.

The role for the Trainee Press Brake Operator:
- Set up and operate a hydraulic CNC press or punch for routine established work.
- Select correct tooling for the job task with setup documents or supervisor/lead assistance.
- Load, install and correctly set up the tools required with some assistance from supervisor/lead.
- Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations.
- Account for time and work completed via online computer data collection system.
- Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and completed work.
- Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance.
- Report and document basic material, production and quality control issues.
- Maintain performance log books on assigned area equipment, report deficiencies to the maintenance team.
- Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level.
The person for the Trainee Press Brake Operator:
- Metal press forming and basic fabrication background (Desirable)
- Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired.
- Competent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools.
- Demonstrated competency in basic shop maths.
- Basic ability to read and understand Engineering drawings (Must)
- Ability to operate a reach forklift (desirable)
