Shift Maintenance Engineer

Pay: £32,000 to £38,000 DOE

Location: Thornbury, Bristol

Active Staff is working alongside our client based in Thornbury who is seeking two Maintenance Engineers due to company growth and new products being realised. This is a permanent full-time position working an average of 38.5 hours per week, 4 on 4 off shifts from 07:00 to 19:00 / 19:00 to 07:00 with a one hour unpaid break.

· A good electrical working knowledge with mechanical experience is essential

· Time served/apprentice trained in a similar position with Electrical qualifications (C&G 2320 P1 & P2, ONC, NVQ 3 or equivalent)

· A thorough understanding of the IEE 18th edition

· Good understanding of current environmental, health and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements.

· Practical hands-on approach

· Have significant experience, understanding, and knowledge of the maintenance of a variety of plants

· Experience in electrical fault finding, defect rectification, and routine maintenance activities

· Ability to interrogate/understand maintenance problems to provide accurate plant condition information/recommendations.

· Excellent communication skills, dealing with operatives, Team leaders from both maintenance and production
