Production Operative with Forklift experience

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join their busy manufacturing team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a varied, hands-on role offering excellent long-term career prospects for the right candidate. Main Responsibilities

• Operate bagging and drying equipment safely and efficiently.
• Carry out basic fault finding, daily inspections, and preventative maintenance to ensure smooth production.
• Load finished products onto customer vehicles using a forklift truck.
• Assist with general production and warehouse duties as required.
• Perform manual handling tasks as part of the production process.
• Work as part of a busy team while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Pay Rate:

£14.25 per hour (increasing to £14.75 per hour upon successful completion of the temporary period and transition to a permanent contract)

Working Hours:

Weekly rotating shifts:

• Morning Shift: 5:45am – 2:15pm
• Afternoon Shift: 1:45pm – 10:15pm

Skills & Experience

• Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience is required but no valid license necessary
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
• Basic computer skills
• Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment
