Role of the Stores Person:

• Stock checking and maintaining accurate inventory levels
• Picking production kits and shortages
• Picking components for sales orders and stock requisitions
• Delivering and collecting materials throughout the business
• Packing customer orders ready for dispatch
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised stores environment
• Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives
• Handling electronic and electro-mechanical components with care
• Using stock control systems to record stock movements
• Supporting colleagues across production and stores as required

Experience of the Stores Person:

• Previous stores, warehouse or stock control experience
• A Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• Good IT skills and confidence using stock control software
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Forklift Truck Licence (desirable)
• Knowledge of 5S, ESD and Manual Handling practices (desirable)
