Welder/Fabricator

Active Staff are proud to be representing our prestigious client based in Andover who are currently looking for a Welder Fabricator (MAG) to join their team to help within their engineering department on a temp to perm basis. Key Responsibilities of Welder Fabricator:

• Read and interpret product drawings to complete jobs within specifications.
• Fabricate and weld company products to the required specification.
• Deliver high-quality products while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Work flexibly within a team environment to meet business needs.
• Ensure excellent housekeeping and compliance with safety guidelines.
• Assembling and erecting company products.
• Participate in new product introduction builds and facilities, as appropriate.
• Actioning maintenance and repairs to required standards.
• Ensure that all relevant daily reporting is completed and accurate.
• Operate company tube bending machine to SSW.

Required Skills for Welder Fabricator:

• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Skilled in welding, polishing, and working with fine tolerances.
• Experience with Oxy-Acetylene heating equipment and digital bevel gauges. (Desirable)
• Strong commitment to a right first time (RFT) ethos and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work to demonstrated timings and seek to improve.
