HGV Class 1 Driver

Active Staff are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV Driver to join our client based in Camberley. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for ongoing temporary work with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
8:00am – 6:00pm

Duties

• Complete approximately 5–6 deliveries and 3–4 collections each day.
• Deliver to local businesses and industrial estates.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery and collection points.
• Comply with all DVSA regulations and company health & safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 HGV driving experience
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
• A professional, reliable, and punctual attitude
• Good communication skills
