We are looking for a motivated and energetic Workshop Assistant to join experienced precision engineering team within prestigious and well established business on Temporary to Permanent basis.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone with at least minimum of manufacturing background, strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to learn and grow within a high-standards engineering environment serving the defence, aerospace, and automotive industries.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM

Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled machinists and engineers with day-to-day workshop operations
- Support the setup, cleaning, and organisation of machines, tools, and work areas
- Handle basic workshop tasks such as deburring, part preparation, inspection support, and material handling
- Follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop in line with health & safety standards
- Assist with stock control, tool management, and general workshop duties
- Learn and develop skills in precision machining processes over time
